JFS Israeli Community Services was established to meet the emerging needs of our Israeli neighbors in Washington State. While we may not yet know the enormity of impact we may see in the weeks or months to come, JFS will continue to support the health, well-being, and stability of the local Jewish community during these challenging and uncertain times.

Resources & Referrals

We are here to listen and provide resources and referrals. We hope this safe landing spot will offer support and connection as needs of the community continue to evolve.

The types of support and referrals* we may provide are:

• Community integration
• Referrals for:
• Emotional and physical support
• Student education/childcare
• Antisemitism and hate crime information and reporting
• Legal questions

Financial Aid

We offer short-term, limited financial assistance to households with Jewish members to cover an unexpected financial crisis, such as recent relocation to Seattle, interruption in income, or unexpected expenses that threaten stability. Assistance is available once in a twelve-month period.

We will look at each request closely and determine financial aid based on a variety of factors including family size, acute need, and dollar amount requested. Please note that we may not be able to fulfill all requests.
