Welcome Refugees and Immigrants With JFS!
Jewish Family Service resettles refugees and immigrants and helps prepare them for new lives here in the Puget Sound area. Join your neighbors in extending a warm welcome to newly arrived families by donating gently used furniture.

Your donations directly support refugee and immigrant families from Ukraine, Afghanistan, and 21 other countries around the world. With your generous contributions, we can help our new neighbors settle into their new homes swiftly!
Donation Instructions:
Please donate the following items (in good condition and cleaned prior to donating):
- 2/3-seater couches max. 8 feet in length (no futons, foldouts, or recliners)
- Armchairs (no recliners)
- Dining table and chairs (sets or standalone, no glass tops)
- Small coffee tables, or end/side tables
- Floor lamps (including bulbs if possible)
- Microwaves (thoroughly cleaned)
- Vacuum cleaners
- Tea kettles (stovetop and plug in)
- Fans (standing or window fans, that are clean and in working condition)
We will not be able to take any donations outside of this list due to limited storage capacity so please make sure the items you drop off fit the description above. We reserve the right to not accept donations that don’t fit our needs. We are unable to arrange for any items to be picked up.
