Six-Week Virtual Class

Powerful Tools for Caregivers

Genuine self-care is crucial for family caregivers caring for loved ones. In this six-week virtual class for unpaid caregivers, participants will learn how to reduce personal stress, communicate their needs effectively in challenging situations, deal with difficult emotions, and make tough care decisions. This free class meets once a week for six weeks (10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, August 26-September 30), and participants are asked to attend all classes. Please contact Brenda Wolsey at (206) 861-8790 or bwolsey@jfsseattle.org by August 19.

Donate Food for the Polack Food Bank

No one should go hungry. Most of JFS clients rely on SNAP food assistance, which is often not enough to keep bellies full. Visits to the Polack Food Bank have been skyrocketing as prices rise and federal support dwindles. Buy items from our Amazon wish list to support our neighbors who pick up food from the Polack Food Bank.
