Food Access

JFS has been providing free food to our community for close to 100 years. We improve access to healthy, culturally appropriate food, with dignity and respect, to individuals and families throughout the Puget Sound region.

Home Delivery

Volunteers pick up pre-made bags of groceries and make deliveries to community members who are homebound with limited mobility. We prioritize Jewish households and extend support to the broader community as resources allow. For more information, contact us at fb@jfsseattle.org or (206) 461-3240.

Healthy Food for All

Our food access programs operate on a consumer-choice model. This means that people select the food they prefer from among the available choices. Typically, people choose from a wide variety of fresh fruit and local vegetables, as well as lean meats, soup, beans, and assorted canned goods.

Respond to Urgent Needs

JFS has been a lifeline for our community since 1892, providing critical support to Jewish individuals and families, refugees and immigrants, and the broader community as well. Today, that lifeline is at risk. Most of the nearly 5,000 clients JFS serves rely on SNAP food assistance and may not be able to feed their families in the next couple of months. When government aid falls short, we step up together. No one should go hungry.

Every Contribution Helps
