Jewish Family Service discontinued its clinical counseling services as of November 29, 2023.
As part of our recent strategic planning initiative, JFS conducted a thorough review of all our programs and services to ensure we can successfully sustain them with our available resources. After much reflection and research, we made the difficult decision to discontinue the Counseling & Addiction Program. We are profoundly grateful to our highly skilled and committed team of therapists who have served JFS clients with compassion over the years.
JFS recognizes the ongoing need for mental health support in our community and we are committed to serving the community in the most effective ways we can. As part of our future plans, we are excited to announce the development of a new mental health education program and referral service in late 2024, with a specific focus on addressing the mental health needs of the Jewish community.
We will maintain your clinical record as required by WA state law or insurance contracts, whichever is longer. If you would like a copy of your record, or your record released to another party, please complete the online form below.
