Passover Gift Bag Delivery
Help wish neighbors a Happy Passover
Create and deliver Passover giftbags to members of the Seattle community on Sunday, March 26, with support from the Tina B. Novick Jewish Holiday Basket Endowment Fund! Volunteers meet at the JFS Capitol Hill location at the start of their assigned shift for giftbag assembly and community education before delivering giftbags to their assigned routes.
Sunday, March 26
10:15 – 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 – 1:30p.m.
All deliveries are contact-free drop-offs and we ask that volunteers commit to good hygiene practices and wear face masks (regardless of vaccination status) while they are out delivering. We sincerely appreciate your help serving our neighbors!
Additional Passover Opportunities:
Passover Cards: Create your own cards with as much creativity and color as possible. We love to see Happy Passover messages and drawings, but we ask that you don’t sign your name or include any personal information on the cards. Make sure to get us your cards by Friday, March 24, so we can include them in our gift bags! Cards can be dropped off at JFS (1601 16th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122) during office hours, which are Mon – Fri,
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., or mailed in, addressed ATTN: Passover Cards.
Passover Snack Drive: Stocking up on Tam-Tams and macaroons? Treat a JFS client to your favorite Passover snack while you’re at it! We’re collecting sweet and savory non-perishable, store-bought snacks with a Kosher for Passover symbol (see the guide here) to add to the Passover essentials our clients receive. Email us at volunteer@jfsseattle.org to arrange a drop-off time at our office before Friday, March 24. Let us know if you’re interested in supporting this program further, or if you have any questions. Happy Passover!
