Seattle Jewish Film Festival: JFS Co-Sponsored Film (Postponed)

Golden Voices (2019)

Fresh off their El Al flight from the Soviet Union in 1990, Victor and Raya Frenkel try to navigate life, love, and making a living in their new home of Israel. With decades of experience as Russia’s premier film-dubbing artists, the Frenkels must find new, creative, and quirky outlets for their highly specific talents. Their fish-out-of-water journey of survival and belonging overflows with heartache, hope, and humor.

Our community partner, the Stroum Jewish Community Center, announced the decision not to proceed with the Seattle Jewish Film Festival scheduled for March 19 – 29 and April 4 – 5 due to concerns around COVID-19. Options are being explored for a rescheduled film festival to take place in the summer or early fall of 2020. More information: https://sjcc.org/blog/seattle-jewish-film-festival-postponed/
