We open the door in the middle of the night with a deep trust that no harm will befall us. Our singing is a call to all who are willing to join our ancestors leaving behind the darkness of Egypt as they crossed the sea. At this time, when we feel constricted, how might the ancient Hallel, these closing Songs of Praise, give voice to hopeful and redemptive stories in ways that are healing for our communities, our society and ourselves?
Taught by Rabbi Samuel Klein, Jewish Federation and Beth Huppin, Jewish Family Service. Moderated by Tony Abrams, Jewish Federation.
