Community Connections: Family & Teen Volunteer Day!

Please join us! On Sunday, June 11 we will be hosting two sessions at the JFS Capitol Hill Campus to take a deeper dive into the workings of our Food Bank. This couldn’t be a more important time to connect with the work of our Food Bank as we’re seeing record numbers of community members visiting each week. Together, we’ll package food, create cards and complete other hands-on work – all while exploring values that guide our work.

Family Session (10 – 11:30 a.m.) This session will be geared towards elementary aged kids (ages 4-8) and their caregivers. Younger and older siblings are welcome to attend as well!

Teen Session (1 – 2:30 p.m.) This session is for teens only and will be geared towards high school students ages 15-18. Noshes will be provided as well! Space is limited to 10 teens for the session as you’ll be working in the Food Bank space so please register early!

All are welcome to attend – no previous knowledge of Judaism needed in order to participate. To RVSP for either of these events, please email volunteer@jfsseattle.org. We look forward to seeing you there!
