Approaching Mental Health Jewishly (Canceled)

You are invited to a powerful mental health forum about mental health stigma reduction and education through a Jewish lens. Rabbi Sydney Danziger of TBT will start by speaking about personal and family experience with mental illness. Adrienne Delaney, TBT board member, Sisterhood president, and mental health therapist, will share personal and professional experience with mental illness and discuss why we should fight mental health stigma, how this fits with Jewish values, and concrete ways to fight stigma.

Beth Huppin, Director of Project Kavod/Dignity (the Jewish education project at JFS) will lead us in topic-relevant text study, speak about inter-generational transmission of trauma, and share about Jewish Family Service’s mental health offerings in the community. All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments to follow.
