We believe that all children deserve opportunities that promote healthy physical, social and emotional development. JFS is committed to providing services that enable each child to feel loved, cared for and valued by the community:
- Big Pals/Little Pals
This program matches Jewish children with Jewish adults who serve as positive role models and mentors.
- Counseling
JFS offers professional, compassionate counseling specifically for children and their families.
- Domestic Violence
JFS partners with Family Services of King County to provide Kids' Club, a 12-week series of classes for children who have witnessed domestic abuse.
- Groups & Workshops
We offer a wide variety of Family Life Education events and workshops for children and teens year-round.
- Jewish Foster Care Support
JFS provides initial screening and information to Jewish adults interested in become foster parents.
- Summer Camp Scholarships
Children from low-income families may receive scholarships to attend Jewish summer camps. More than one child per family may apply; applications begin in March.
