Food Bank Shifts and Delivery:
We need help throughout the work week in the food bank. Various shifts are available (Food Bank Shift Schedule).
JFS is seeking volunteers to help staff the Eastside food bank, to be held this summer at the Jewish Day School in Bellevue on July 8th and August 12th. Call in advance for the time and to sign up.
ESL Tutors:
Needed in our Bellevue office during the week, and to tutor senior Russian clients in other locations in Bellevue. We are also seeking volunteers to tutor and help new immigrant families in the Kent area, as well as volunteer tutors for our ESL classes in the Seattle area.
JFS Bellevue office is also seeking a volunteer to lead an Advanced ESL class for the month of June. The class is set up in a “talk time” format and meets twice a week, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Friendly Visitors:
For senior clients in Everett, Seward Park and other Seattle areas.
Office Help:
Various office projects, phone calls, or other special projects. Call and ask to be on our on call list.
Child Care:
Volunteers needed for special events and meetings.
