Centerpiece Basket Project Volunteer
JFS is seeking a talented helper in our Centerpiece Basket project. If you are skilled at ribbon tying, gift wrapping, etc., we need your help to wrap and decorate our Centerpiece and Bemah baskets seen in many local congregations. Our experienced basket maker will help get you started making beautiful baskets. This is an ongoing and very important project for which we are looking for a few volunteers to help.

Passover Holiday Basket Making Volunteers
A Passover Basket making/delivery event is coming up March 14. We'll be making and decorating baskets from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the JFS main office, after which volunteers will be delivering the baskets around the community. Please register in advance for this volunteer event. This is a good event for families with children age 6 and over.

Food Bank Shifts and Delivery Volunteers
We need substitutes throughout the work week in the Food Bank. Call to put your name on our list for future shifts.

ESL Tutors and Resettlement Volunteers
We are seeking volunteer teachers and tutors for ESL classes for Russian seniors in Seattle, class assistants in our Bellevue ESL classes and volunteer mentors to help new immigrant families in the Kent area.

Friendly Visitors
Senior clients are waiting for visitors in Seward Park, First Hill, Shoreline and Lynnwood.

Big Pals
We are currently seeking Big Pals for boys waiting in Edmonds and Bothell.

Neighborhood Home Delivery
JFS is seeking two teams of volunteers with vehicles to make home food deliveries, one Sunday each month (two volunteers per team). 11:30-1:30. (Load bags, pack up car, and deliver) April 11. May 9th, June 13th, etc. (second Sunday of the month). Requirements: 3 month commitment, ability to lift 25 pounds, and be available even on Mother's Day, Graduation, etc.
