Highly qualified and trained staff members of the Seattle Association for Jews with Disabilities provide in-home respite care to families with children who have autism or developmental disabilities. Families must pre-enroll. The minimum respite shift is three hours, and the maximum is usually eight hours (longer periods may be negotiated on a case by case basis). Travel time and other restrictions apply outside the city of Seattle. A fee-based sliding scale is available.
