Aging in Place

At JFS, we envision a community in which older adults are valued for the wisdom and experience they possess, and for the contributions they have made and continue to make. We are proud to offer programs and services that encourage active older adults to engage in intrinsically meaningful activities; that support adult children of aging parents; and that enable those older adults challenged by disability, illness or declining health to live in comfort and dignity. We offer:

Care Management

If arranging care has become too difficult to manage alone, and you need someone to coordinate a loved one’s medical (and other) appointments, you may benefit from the help of a professional Care Manager.

Our therapists offer sensitive and supportive counseling for individuals and families on aging-related issues such as changes in health and ability levels, bereavement, isolation, anxiety, depression, lifestyle transitioning and more.

Endless Opportunities – Social/Educational Activities

If you are 60 years of age or older, our Endless Opportunities program facilitates meaningful connections to community through a variety of educational, social, cultural and recreational activities.

Family Consultation

Our Geriatric Care Managers meet with families concerned about an aging loved one to explore options for receiving needed care and address barriers to implementing changes.

Holocaust Survivors

Social services and limited financial assistance for Nazi victims are supported by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Home Care

Care Solutions by JFS provides concierge-style care management and professional home care services for older adults who want to continue living comfortably and safely in their own homes.

JFS collaborates with a wide variety of community organizations who provide a multitude of services for aging adults and/or their families. Our staff can help you navigate the complex system of long-term care, community resources and medical benefits.
