SENIOR ACCOUNTANT / SYSTEMS ANALYST
Oversees financial systems and integration between general ledger and supporting software packages such as payroll and professional billing systems. Responsible for on-line cash management, accounts receivable/billing, accounts payable, and payroll systems. Responsible for generating monthly journal voucher adjustments and accrual transactions. Establishes, interprets and analyzes complex accounting records of financial statements. These may include general accounting, costing or budgeting data. Examines, analyzes and interprets accounting records. Requires technical knowledge of set up and operation of accounting, payroll and professional billing software, with the ability to integrate the systems in to the general ledger.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

governmental grants and contracts, develop and maintain policies and procedures to insure compliance, billing and appropriateness of expenditures. Explain and advise on grant and contract stipulations. Generate and review related reports and provide analysis to decision makers. Prepare departmental financial reports and support the annual audit.
Required: Bachelor’s level degree in finance or accounting, CPA desirable, strong communication skills; Proficient in the design and use of Excel spreadsheets; At least five years of related experience in accounting, thorough knowledge of GAAP, financial and internal control systems, and Government Auditing Standards. FACILITIES ASSISTANT
Jewish Family Service, a non-profit social service agency, is seeking a high energy, motivated and organized person to work as our Facilities Assistant. This position has dual responsibilities. As clerical support will provide administrative assistance to the Facilities Coordinator and back up reception. As the facilities assistant will order, monitor and distribute office supplies, perform general office maintenance including light custodial and handy person tasks, monitor parking lots, and provide room set-up for meetings.
Required: excellent customer service skills; be organized with ability to multi-task, have excellent follow-through; calm, personable, friendly and professional demeanor with good judgment, flexible and a problem solver. Consistent attendance and punctuality is required; must be proficient with common office machines; key boards at 35 wpm; skilled in basic computer software, including word processing and spreadsheets; minimum two years office experience; high school diploma or GED; possess valid Washington State Driver’s license, vehicle and current insurance; able to lift 35lbs; basic light handyperson skills required, e.g., ability to use hand and light power tools. Must dress in a neat and appropriate manner befitting the position of reception back-up. Position requires a minimum of four overtime hours every other week, occasionally more.
