Verdi's Nabucco - A "Deconstruction" of the Opera
Tuesday, March 9 • 10:00 - 11:30 A.M.
Seneca Garber, Education Associate, from The Seattle Opera will explore Jewish themes in Verdi's Opera-Nabucco. The most well known and beloved piece of music from the opera is sung by the chorus - Singing, "Va pensiero, sull'ali dorate, the Jews long to return to their homeland from Babylon". Mr.Garber will enhance our knowledge using a multi-media approach about the opera.
