Details:

Death and Dying
A series on Jewish traditions and practical preparations

Four Wednesdays, February 3, 17 & March 3, 17
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Session 1: I Don't Know What to Say: Comforting the dying and bereaved

When those around us are sick or dying, we often feel uncomfortable - unsure how to respond. What can we say to loved ones who are dying? What does Jewish tradition tell us about supporting those who are ill? How do we talk about death with those who are nearing the end of their lives or those who have just lost a loved one? Discuss these questions and others with Rabbi Zari Weiss.

Held at Temple De Hirsch Sinai
1530 East Union, Seattle

Participants are welcome to attend one, several,
or all of the workshops in the series.

$10/person for individual sessions; $36/person for all four sessions.
Scholarships are available. Advance registration required.
