Walking Tour of the Seattle Center Campus

What brought 10 million visitors to Seattle in 1962? Travel back to that year and experience the cultural, architectural and historical legacies of the Seattle World’s Fair. Join us for a 90 minute guided walk of the Seattle Center Campus lead by MOHAI guides. Learn about the planners, the fair’s organization, its promotion and the duel themes of science and the future.
Thursday, August 9, 2012 • 10:30 a.m. - Noon
For directions: Meet at the NW Craft Center by 10:20 a.m. Closest parking is at Thomas and John or Mercer Street Garage.
Cost: $5.00 for docent, due on or before Monday, July 23.
