Domestic Violence

Project DVORA (Domestic Violence Outreach, Response & Advocacy)

Domestic violence is a pattern of coercive behaviors used to gain and maintain power and control over an intimate partner.  It may include threats, intimidation, emotional or sexual abuse, economic control, isolation, or physical violence.

As a community, it is our responsibility to protect our members so that each one of us can truly live in peace without fear and threat of violence.  Project DVORA (Domestic Violence Outreach, Response & Advocacy) seeks to create the conditions in the Jewish community to support loving, safe and respectful relationships; and build the capacity in the community to respond to domestic abuse. To that end, we offer the following services:
