We want to ensure that all members of the Jewish community have access to education, counseling and support for all family life issues, at all ages and stages. Whether you’re a new parent, a single parent, a parent of an adolescent or an adult child of an aging parent, our programs are designed to strengthen you, your family and your community. Remember…family is our middle name.
- Alternatives to Addiction
This program provides confidential, supportive assistance to those struggling with addiction. - Big Pals/Little Pals
This program matches Jewish children with Jewish adults who serve as positive role models and mentors. - Counseling
Our professional staff of experienced, licensed therapists has extensive experience helping community members successfully deal with a variety of issues impacting today’s families. - Intimate Partner Abuse
Project DVORA (Domestic Violence Outreach, Response & Advocacy) seeks to create the conditions in the Jewish community to support loving, safe and respectful relationships; and build the capacity in the community to respond to domestic abuse. - Family Life Education
JFS offers a wide variety of Family Life Education events and workshops year-round for people in need of support, guidance and expertise in order to strengthen relationships and connections to community. - Interfaith Families
Join other interfaith couples and families in a warm, welcoming atmosphere for support and learning opportunities. - LGBTQ Community
Educational offerings that support LGBTQ individuals, couples and parents in their relationships, families and community. - Single Parent Family Events
Special programming (i.e. holiday gatherings, outings or our annual retreat) just for Jewish single parents and their children. - Summer Camp Scholarships
Children from low-income families may receive scholarships to attend Jewish summer camps. - Resources
