Guatemala & Fair Trade Judaica

Sharon Mossman, Debbie Brown and Dina Tanners will share their first-hand experiences through photos plus hands-on show-and-tell. We’ll look at the Huipiles, a traditional upper-body garment woven and worn by the indigenous women of Guatemala and other fine woven artisan crafts including Judaica. Fair trade is an organized social movement that aims to help producers in developing countries make better trading conditions while promoting sustainability. Come learn more about how our purchases can provide support.
