Stock Donation
By making a Family Matters donation with stock, you gain the satisfaction of supporting local people in need and receive specific tax advantages at the same time. Please note that the value of your stock gift is calculated by taking the average price of the stock the day it enters a Jewish Family Service account.
To donate stock, you or your broker should contact the JFS Chief Development Officer beforehand at (206) 861-3188. She will provide the transaction information required to make the stock transfer into the JFS account and will record and recognize your transfer accordingly.
