Parenting Mindfully
Parenting Mindfully
Parenting Mindfully Drawing on Jewish Values through Musar We want our children to develop good values and character-and the primary way they learn this is by watching us! Join us in exploring how parents can express their emotions and beliefs in balanced and healthy ways, consistently modeling traits we want to pass on. We'll draw from Musar, traditional Jewish writings focused on improving one's character, and from contemporary research and literature. Facilitated by Rabbi Kinberg and Marjorie Schnyder, MSW; suitable for parents of children up to 12 years old. Each session held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on these Sunday mornings: January 31: The Middah of Compassion March 7: The Middah of Patience April 18: The Middah of Humility May 16: The Middah of Faith Co-sponsored by and held at Temple B'nai Torah, 15727 NE 4th Street, Bellevue FREE. Advance registration is encouraged. A limited amount of babysitting is provided by TBT teens with advance request.
